Planning guide · Client editorial draft
Start with what the package actually includes
A package name does not explain the full experience. Ask for an itemized description: table location, seating, included products, serving arrangements and permitted group size. Clarify whether every guest receives a seat and whether the quoted capacity is a maximum. BAD DSM’s La Lista, Reserva and Oro packages are concepts for review, with final availability and terms still pending.
Separate entry from the table
Ask whether tickets or admission are included and whether every guest must arrive together. Confirm age restrictions, ID requirements, last entry and any re-entry rules. A reservation should not be treated as a way around venue policies. This BAD DSM preview makes no admission guarantee and does not accept reservations or payment.
Request the complete price
Ask for the amount due now, the amount due on arrival and every mandatory charge. Confirm how minimum spend works, whether substitutions are available and how changes in group size affect the booking. Do not rely on an illustrative package to calculate your final bill. BAD DSM has not supplied approved live table prices.
Read the cancellation and arrival terms
Find out what happens if you arrive late, miss the booking or need to change the date. Ask who is authorized to make changes and keep the written confirmation. If a named event is canceled or rescheduled, check the applicable refund terms with the actual seller. This is a planning checklist rather than a statement of BAD DSM’s eventual policy.
Understand membership separately
A monthly Privilege card and a one-night table reservation serve different purposes. Before joining any recurring program, confirm billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, eligible events, guest limits and exclusions. The proposed BAD Habit, Influence and Decisions tiers in this preview are not available for purchase. Their prices and benefits need final approval.
Get answers before committing
Use the VIP page to review the proposed direction and collect questions for the venue. For celebrations, ask about accessibility, decorations and special requests early. Once the official booking channel and terms are supplied, verify them together before paying. A VIP inquiry asks the team to contact you; it does not hold or confirm a table.
Local sources & editorial note
The Greater Des Moines Partnership music guide describes the range of downtown music venues and performances. Catch Des Moines’ nightlife directory is a regional discovery resource. These sources establish local context; they do not verify BAD DSM’s address or lineup. BAD DSM concepts below come from the supplied client brief. Reviewed October 13, 2026.
